pizza night : 1st attempt

Growing up, I remember having “_________” nights for dinner. Once a week, usually on Sundays, my mom would plan a meal that involved all of us cooking together at the table. Korean BBQ night, hot pot night, and make-your-own-sushi-roll night were some of my favorites. I remember jotting orders from my dad and making his very own salmon sashimi and cucumber rolls with a hint of wasabi.

So, to keep up the tradition, I decided to do a “pizza” night with my family. We got the dough from Trader Joe’s and went to work.

Canon 5D Mark II 28-70mm 2.8L (ISO 120, f2.8, 1/200) for all.

Pizza making is serious business.

Finished product! Pizza #1 : mushroom, red onion & tomato pizza on garlic herb dough.

Pizza #2 : chicken, spinach, red onion & mushroom pizza with Everett and Jones BBQ sauce on wheat dough.

The verdict? Too doughy. Jimmy thinks we should have spread the dough out more and cooked it for longer at a lower temperature. We are determined to get it right! Until we do, we're having pizza night once a week!
Come join us! We promise to wash Blee's hands!
