Instagram Prints

I’ve been on Instagram ever since it’s been on Android. Even though I’m a big DSLR girl, on average, I take about 10 photos a week on my phone. It’s mostly because I’m too lazy to carry my “big” camera everywhere I go, and because I’m sometimes embarrassed to bust it out in public.

Well, 6 months later, I have to say that some of my favorite photos EVER are on my Instragram feed. Earlier this week, my favorite online photo lab was having free shipping for any orders over $10. So, I decided to print them out.

I bought this totally awesome frame at Cost Plus about a year ago, and it’s been looking pretty lonely on our wall.

So, I decided to combined the two, and VOILA!

I think it looks super cute. I’m not sure if I want to fill the empty hearts with photos or hang little knickknacks from the hooks. Any suggestions?

**There are several places that will print Instagram photos for you. Basically, any lab that provides square prints will work. I use Instaport to export the photos to my laptop, then choose the ones I want to print.

Here are some online labs that seem interesting..

With blurb.com, you can easily import your instagram photos to create an album. I haven’t tried this, but I hear the process is very simple. I plan to make one at the end of the year.

Printstagr.am is another lab. This lab has fun products like mini stickers, mini-books, posters, and T-shirts. The prints are reasonable with 24 squares or 48 mini squares for only $12.**

Check it out!
