shrimp casserole

Hi! I'm excited to share a super easy and delicious recipe I found awhile ago on...where else? Pinterest!

Shrimp Casserole :

Ingredients :
1 - bell pepper (diced)
2 - onions (diced)
2 - cups of rice
1 - Can of Cream of Celery
1 - Can of Cream of Chicken
1 - pound shrimp
4 - tbsp butter

The original recipe called for fresh shrimp, but ever since Jimmy cut his finger trying to devein them, I've given up. Frozen shrimp is the way to go.

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix ALL the ingredients except the butter in a bowl.
3. In a 12' x 9' casserole dish, melt butter.
4. Pour the mixture into the casserole dish.
5. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
6. After 45 minutes, mix the casserole, re-cover, and cook for another 45 minutes.

I LOVE this recipe because it's easy, flavorful, and we usually have all of the ingredients ready to go.



  1. Hmm... so is it kind of like jambalaya without the kick... and without the sausage? Nevermind, I guess not like jambalaya at all.

    My hubby dislikes shrimp greatly. Which is no good for ME, because I love it! So, I just order it out sometimes. I can count on one hand the number of times shrimp has been in my kitchen, though.
