The last few days in Oregon were spent touring the gorgeous campus of the University of Oregon, eating more, and spending time with Sarah.
Did I mention that our little boy is in love with this girl? They were literally attached at the hip.
On Easter, we attended a service at the First Christian Church of Eugene. I was initially sad that I was going to miss our beautiful living cross that our church in Torrance creates every year. But, as I walked up the steps, I saw that the church in Eugene did the same thing!
So, so beautiful!
After we said our good-byes to Sarah, Jimmy drove for 2 hours in the hail back to Portland. We had a yummy dinner at Vita Cafe, a popular vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free restaurant. Then, we walked over to Salt and Straw.
After much deliberation, we decided on getting the sampler:
Almond Brittle with Salted Ganache
Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper
Chocolate Gooey Brownie.
This is his "OMG THIS IS SO TASTY!" face.
...and our last breakfast in Oregon was at City State. I had the Louisiana Crab Hash, and Jimmy had the Banana Hazelnut French Toast.
That's it for now! Until next time, Oregon!
