Spring Break (part 3)

The last few days in Oregon were spent touring the gorgeous campus of the University of Oregon, eating more, and spending time with Sarah.



Did I mention that our little boy is in love with this girl? They were literally attached at the hip. 



On Easter, we attended a service at the First Christian Church of Eugene. I was initially sad that I was going to miss our beautiful living cross that our church in Torrance creates every year. But, as I walked up the steps, I saw that the church in Eugene did the same thing! 

So, so beautiful! 




After we said our good-byes to Sarah, Jimmy drove for 2 hours in the hail back to Portland. We had a yummy dinner at Vita Cafe, a popular vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free restaurant. Then, we walked over to Salt and Straw

After much deliberation, we decided on getting the sampler:

Almond Brittle with Salted Ganache
Olive Oil
Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper
Chocolate Gooey Brownie.

...and our last breakfast in Oregon was at City State. I had the Louisiana Crab Hash, and Jimmy had the Banana Hazelnut French Toast.
